Albion Albion Lake
Location: 15 Minutes West of Bancroft, access off Airport Road.
Lake Size: Just over 1 mile, 164 Acres in size or 66.6 (ha), Maximum depth 10.9 Metres and Mean depth 4.6 Metres.
Lake Character: Cottage road kept open year round, mostly gently sloping to level lots. 1/2 natural shoreline, 1/2 good shoreline, access to 1000's of acres of crown. No public access. The lake does have some backlots. No marina on the lake. The north west side of the lake has some poor frontages but the south and east are pretty good. According to our records Albion Lake has 32 properties on it and is 20% crown land.
Fishing: Splake, Small Mouth Bass, Yellow Perch
Anstruther Anstruther Lake
A beautiful lake in the middle of Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park. This pristine lake offers prime cottages in a great setting. If you enjoy portaging, this lake offers a great water system to follow. Close to the smaller town of Apsley, this Town offers most everything you need.
Location: 10-20 minutes from Apsley.
Lake Size: 5 plus miles or 633.8 (ha), Maximum depth 39 Metres, Mean depth 12.6 Metres.
Lake Character: This pristine lake is part of Kawartha Highland Provincial Park. Anstruther is a beautiful lake that offers some of the best features of the Canadian Shield. According to our records it is about 66% crown and is in general a deep lake. A harder lake to get on and few prime properties go for sale on it. Fishing: Lake Trout, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass.
Baptiste Baptiste Lake
One of our top 10 lakes due to it's size and fishing. Several cottages are for sale right now on the lake. A very hard lake to get any good lots for sale anymore. The lake is part of the 36 mile Baptiste, Elephant and Benoir Lake chain.
Location: 5 to 40 minutes north west of Bancroft. 5min to the south side and up to 45 min to the far north east side.
Lake Size: 36 mile 3 lake chain, Elephant & Benoir Lk access. Maximum lake depth of 32 Metres, Mean depth of 4.7 Metres.
Lake Character: Considered one of Bancrofts largest lake chains and one of the best fishing lakes the area has to offer. One of the most expensive lakes in our area and part of a 36 mile 3 lake chain. The lake itself is 50% crown with, according to our records, 430 properties on it. Baptiste itself is 2226.3 (ha) in size. The lake has a marina on it, boat taxi and rentals at 613-332- 1233 call Baptiste Lake Marina. The lake also has 3 public access points, 2 off South Baptiste Lake Road and one off North Baptiste Lake Road, it has a second but you have to know the back roads real well to find it.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Muskellunge, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Perch.
Bark Bark Lake
Location: 45+ minutes North of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 12 miles long, 55.9 mile perimeter. 9,386 acres, Maximum depth 287 feet, Mean depth 79.6 feet
Lake Character: Sparsely developed lake. Deep, clean, cold water. The lake is part of a 90 mile waterway with lots of crown land and private coves. One of the deepest lakes in our area. The public launch is Hwy 62 North to Papineau Lake Road. Follow in past the Papineau Lake launch to Bark Lake Road, the launch is at the end of this road. The rock cut in front of you at this point was one of the paintings from The Group of Seven.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass, Yellow Perch.
Bartlett Bartlett Lake
A very small but scenic lake. Only a handful of cottages on the lake and a nice farm on the northwest side. Very beautiful and peaceful lake.
Location: 15 minutes north of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1/4 mile at best.
Lake Character: Very little information is available on this nice little lake. We believe it to be a no motor lake.
Fishing: No maps show me the fishing, most of these little pristine lakes offer excellent Bass fishing.
Bay Bay Lake
Considered one of the cleanest lakes in Ontario! Beautiful Bay Lake is a smaller lake just minutes from Bancroft.
Location: 5-10 minutes South of Bancroft off the Bay Lake Road.
Lake Size: 1 mile. 84.9 (ha) in size, 21.9 Metres maximum depth, 10.8 Metres mean depth, 10% crown land.
Lake Character: Excellent water quality with a limestone base. Good area for a year round residence. Crystal clear water with most areas sand and clean for swimming. According to our records the lake has 54 properties on it. Most of the roads are year round and we would say that at least 50% of the owners are year round. The public boat launch is on the causeway on Bay Lake Road and you have to go under the road by boat to get into the lake.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass.
Benoir Benoir Lake
Benoir Lake is part of the 3 lake chain of Baptiste, Elephant and Benoir Lake. Benoir Lake can be accessed via boat through Elephant Lake or by car.
Location: 30 minutes North West of Bancroft
Lake Size: Just under 2 miles, 19.2 Metres maximum depth, 5.6 Metres Mean depth. 95.5 (ha) large.
Lake Character: This lake offers access to the Baptiste 3 lake chain. 36 miles of boating & some of the best Walleye, Bass & Muskie fishing. Busy lake with 153 properties but don't let that fool you as the biggest lake of the 3, being Baptiste Lake, is 50% crown.
There is a small marina and boat launch on Benoir lake itself, which also offers a gas bar and snack bar/store/payphone.
Fishing: Walleye, Muskie, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass.
Bentley Bentley Lake
This is a smaller lake just 5 minutes from Bancroft.
Location: 5-10 minutes from Bancroft
Lake Size: 1/4 to maximum 1/2 mile,
Lake Character: The lake is a smaller lake that is convenient to Bancroft. The spring water from Siddon Lake flows into Bentley Lake on the east side. No public access into the lake.
Fishing: Bass
Cannon Cannon Lake
Cannon Lake is a smaller lake just 15 minutes from Bancroft. The cottages are only on the road side so you look across the lake at no development.
Location: 15 minutes from Bancroft, 5 minutes southwest of Maynooth off the Peterson Road.
Lake Size: Just under a 1/2 mile, 77 acres or 30.8 (ha), Maximum depth 10.1 Metres, Mean depth 3.4 Metres.
Lake Character: A smaller lake with only a handful of cottages on it. The access is a paved township road. Lots of deer in the area as the winter feeding is on that road and the area has lots of crown.
Fishing: Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass.
Cardwell Cardwell Lake
Cardwell Lake is a nice smaller lake close to the Town of Maynooth. Rare to have a property for sale on the lake.
Location: 20 minutes North of Bancroft., 5 minutes West of the small town of Maynooth.
Lake Size: 3/4 Mile, 12.8 Metres maximum depth, 5.1 Metres mean depth, 44.3 (ha) in size or 108 acres.
Lake Character: Quiet, clean lake with only 27 properties on the water. No public access. Generally sand, gradually sloping shorelines. 86% of the lake is crown land. This lake flushes itself something like 3 times a year, very good for water quality. I have caught some nice smallmouth on this one! The public access is hidden, if you are on East Lake Road off Hwy 127 west of Maynooth, take the North Cardwell Lake Road and when you come to the T intersection keep straight across the road. 4X4 is best for this launch.
Fishing: Rainbow Trout, Large Mouth Bass and Small Mouth Bass.
Cashel Cashel Lake
Cashel Lake is a nice medium size lake about 5 minutes north of the small town of Gunter. Nice deep trout lake with 60% of the lake crown.
Location: 30 Minutes South East of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 1/2 Miles. Maximum depth 28.8 Metres, Mean depth 7.1 Metres, surface area 423 acres or 169 (ha)
Lake Character: 60% crown land, deep clear water, limestone base, 41 properties on the lake. Quiet lake for its size, has a public access off the forest access road. Nice clear water due to the limestone. You can portage from Gunter Lake into Cashel. The water from Gunter goes into Cashel, at that area Gunter has a small stone dam. It is possible to lift a canoe over the small dam and go into Gunter. Gunter Lake offers very good bass fishing. The public launch is off the Egan Creek Road, forest access for the locals.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Large Mouth Bass.
Chandos Chandos Lake
Chandos, once called Loon Lake for the abundance of nesting Loons. A large lake with lots of boating. In general a deep lake that offers good fishing. The Town of Apsley is just around the corner and offers pretty much everything you need for your northern stay.
Location: 5-25 minutes from Apsley.
Lake Size: About 12 plus miles or 1387.4 (ha), Maximum depth 47.9 Metres, Mean depth 13.3 Metres.
Lake Character: Chandos Lake is a large lake that offers lots of boating and fishing. One of the largest lakes in the Crowe watershed. The lake has 3 large bays. The lake levels are controlled by the Crowe River and Paudash Lake runoff. Once called Loon Lake for the hundreds of nesting loons on the lake system. According to my records the lake has about 1200 properties. Chandos also has 3 full service marina's and a public beach located off Hwy 620.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Perch, Walleye and Northern Pike.
Coe Island Coe Island Lake
Coe Island is a long narrow lake that is close to Bancroft. 3 access points, 1- 5 minutes from Bancroft off Hwy 28 off Celica Road (gated)gets you to the North side, 2- 10 minutes from Bancroft off the Lower Faraday Road off Lippert Lane gets you to the West side, 3- 15 minutes from Town off Bay Lake Road gets you to the south side. The public access is off this side off Stringer Drive.
Location: 5-15 Minutes South or West of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 2 Miles, long and narrow. A deeper Trout lake.
Lake Character: Because of easy access to this lake more cottages are becoming year round homes, limestone base lake, very clear water. More rock than sand on the shorelines. Most of the roads are open year round.
Fishing: Large Mouth & Small Mouth Bass, Splake.
Cope Cope Lake
Beautiful little lake that the cottages are mostly water access. The lake offers real nice Rainbow Trout if you can catch one. Easy public access off the Mumford Road to Cope Lake Road.
Location: 25 Minutes frrom Bancroft or 10 Minutes from Highland Grove.
Lake Size: 1/4 mile x 1/2 mile, 29 (ha) in size, Maximum depth 14.6 Metres, Mean depth 5.4 Metres.
Lake Character: Nice deep small lake with good access. By canoe you can go into another little crown lake. Very pretty area with a nice rock face on part of the lake. According to my records Cope Lake has 16 properties on it.
Fishing: Rainbow Trout and Smallmouth Bass.
Cross Cross Lake
Cross Lake is a little out of the way but worth the drive. The lake has to be at least 50% crown but little information is available on the lake. Nice deep Lake Trout lake with a few lakes that can be portaged into. Location: 40 minutes North of Bancroft.
Lake Size: Just over 2 miles in size, deep Lake Trout lake.
Lake Character: Lots of crown land around this lake. Cross lake is also called Lyell Lake depending on the map you have. 39 properties, mostly seasonal roads. Deep clear, lake trout water. Access to 1000's of acres of crown. Great lake for hiking, portage into 100% crown lakes like Little Lyell(cross), Coghlan and Pell Lake. The public boat launch is off the Madawaska Road and is marked.
Fishing: Bass and Lake Trout.
Deer Deer Lake
Deer Lake is 46% crown and big enough to play in without huge powerboats on the lake.
Location: 25 Minutes West of Bancroft..
Lake Size: 1 3/4 Miles or 189.7(ha), Maximum depth 20.1 Metres, Mean depth 8.3 Metres, 46% crown.
Lake Character: This lake offers 46% crown land. Very quiet, peaceful lake. Most of the roads are kept open year round by the Cottage Association. Deer Lake has 41 properties on it and offers a mixture of sandy rocky shoreline. The public boat launch is off Hwy 648, take Deer Lake Road down the hill and you will see the launch around the corner.
Fishing: Lake Trout and Small Mouth Bass.
Diamond Diamond Lake
Diamond is a good all around lake being close to town, a few miles in size and in general good sandy shorelines. The lake has year round access and nothing for sale at present.
Location: 20 Minutes West of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 3/4 Miles or 165.9(ha), Maximum depth 25 Metres, Mean depth 8.3 Metres.
Lake Character: The lake is 60% crown land. Offers good sand shorelines with easy year round access. The public beach and public boat launch off the Old Diamond Lake Road. A general all around good lake with most of the shorelines sandy. The south end of the lake is water access with a few cottages. Nice area for bass fishing.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Large Mouth Bass.
Dickey Dickey Lake
Dickey Lake was developed some 35+ years ago. The Lake is south of Bancroft therefore coming from the City you can save some driving time. A nice deep Lake Trout lake that offers full year round access.
Location: 40 Minutes South of Bancroft, 10 minutes from the small town of Coe Hill.
Lake Size: 3 Miles.
Lake Character: Dickey Lake is a 2 lake chain connecting to Lake of Islands. Year round roads, prominently rocky shorelines, well organized Cottage Association. Lake of Island is a small lake that can be accessed from Dickey Lake.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Large Mouth Bass.
Eels Eels Lake
Eels Lake is a large lake that because of seasonal roads has been kept more of a cottage lake. The lake is surrounded by crown with no back lot development. This lake is affected by the trent canal system, therefore in the fall the water level does drop.
Location: 1/2 hour to 45 Minutes South of Bancroft, several cottage roads to access this large lake.
Lake Size: 6 1/2 Miles or 945.8(ha), Maximum depth 29.9 Metres, Mean depth 6.7 Metres.
Lake Character: Large quiet lake for its size, a real cottagey, Muskoka type lake. All the back land around Eels Lake is crown. The lake is 40% crown land. Most of the roads are seasonal but changing quickly to year round. One of the better priced larger lakes. The public boat launch is off Hwy 28 south from Bancroft, right at Eels Lake Public Landing Road.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Pickerel, Small Mouth Bass.
Elephant Elephant Lake
Large shallow lake that has sandy shorelines. Most of the lake is weedy when you go out past about 30 feet, the fishing is great because of the weeds. Part of the 36 mile Baptiste and Benoir Lake chain.
Location: 20-30 minutes West of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 6 miles or 1095.8(ha), Maximum depth of 7.6 Metres, Mean depth of 1.7 Metres, Access to 36 miles of boating.
Lake Character: Although this lake is large, the average depth is only about 6 ft. Not a great lk for boating or water sports. Fishing is great as it's well known for huge Bass & Muskie.
Fishing: Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Walleye and Muskie(muskellunge).
Faraday Faraday Lake
Nice deep Lake Trout lake that is close to Bancroft. Known by the locals also as Faraday Trout lake.
Location: 8-15 Minutes North West of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 1/3 Miles or 114(ha), Maximum depth 24.4 Metres, Mean depth 9.1 Metres.
Lake Character: Good, deep trout lake with easy access to Bancroft. 50% of the roads are year round. Most of the shorelines are sandy and some drop off quickly. 35% of the lake is crown. Nice lake that's handy to town and offers over a mile of boating. The public boat launch is off Hwy 28 south of Bancroft, take Monck Road to Trout Lake Road, the launch is on your right.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Yellow Perch.
Fraser Fraser Lake
Fraser Lake is one of the few natural Pickeral lakes in the area. Nice sized smaller lake with little development. A little drive from Bancroft but in a very scenic area.
Location: 30 - 40 minutes North East of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 3/4 miles or 340 acres, 136(ha), Maximum depth 15.2 Metres or 50 feet.
Lake Character: One of the few true Pickerel lakes in the area. Most of the roads are kept open year round by the cottagers. This lake is near the small town of Boulter...very pretty scenic area with some nice rolling farmland, views and scenic roads. The public boat launch for Fraser Lake is located off the Boulter Road. Take Trolley Road to your left, the boat launch is straight at the end.
Fishing: Northern Pike, Pickerel, Large Mouth Bass.
Gin Gin Lake
This beautiful medium sized lake has access through a culvert to Mayo Lake. Gin Lake offers very private crown lake.
Location: 30 minutes East of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1.5 miles, 253 acres or 101.3(ha), Maximum depth 13.7 Metres, Mean depth of 4.6 Metres.
Lake Character: Very private lake with over 80% of the lake being crown land. Lots of undeveloped shoreline with Mayo Lake available to boat as well. Access is at the channel between the two lakes off Mayo Lake Road. Mayo is deeper and offers Lake Trout fishing as well. Very clear lake that offers a limestone base.
Fishing: Perch, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass.
Glanmire Glanmire Lake
An off the path lake with no hydro on the lake. A nice off the road lake that takes a good 30 minute drive off the Hwy to reach. Worth the drive if you're after a quieter lake with great bass fishing.
Location: 45 Minutes South East of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 3 Miles, very little information on the lakes depth etc.
Lake Character: Seasonal road but kept open by 2 cottagers at present. Less than 40 properties on the lake. No hydro but a beautiful, quiet lake. Exceptional Bass fishing. The lake is remote and the dirt road seems like it goes forever. Worth the drive in our opinion.
Fishing: Great Large Mouth and Small Mouth Bass fishing.
Graphite Graphite Lake
Smaller lake north of Bancroft. The fishing seems to be good for Northern Pike. The front or north part of the lake has Graphite Bible Camp. To get to the back of the lake you have to travel through a shallow part of the lake.
Location: 20 Minutes north of Bancroft.
Lake Size: Over 1 mile in size but kind of U shape, Maximum depth 14.6 Metres, Mean depth 3.1 Metres.
Lake Character: Graphite is a nice smaller lake with only 20 or so cottages on it. The lake is very quiet at the south side where little development is present.
Fishing: Northern Pike, (bass as well, I have witnessed but not on ministry records).
Gunter Gunter Lake
Gunter Lake is south from Bancroft. The lake is approx 64 ft deep at its deepest point and offers great bass fishing. The water from Gunter Lake goes into Cashel Lake which is to the north. Gunter Lake has an old dam that holds the lake back. It is possible to portage over this small dam and canoe into Cashel. Cashel is a deeper Lake Trout lake and offers 2 miles of boating were Gunter Lake is tops 1 mile.
Location: 45 Minutes South East of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 Mile, 18 acres or 7.2(ha), Maximum depth 64 feet, *Can portage into Cashel Lake easily.
Lake Character: The main road is kept open year round by The Cottagers Association. Offers exceptional bass fishing.
Fishing: Great Large Mouth Bass fishing lake.
Hay Hay Lake
This is a beautiful lake and is one of the ways to get into Algonquin Park via water.
Location: 35 Minutes North of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 11 Miles. Maximum depth 29.2 Metres or 96 feet.
Lake Character: Large, virtually undeveloped lake that borders the east side of Algonquin Park. Less than 65 properties on the lake. About 90% of the lake is water access with very remote logging roads to some cottages. Deep, beautiful lake. The boat launch is off Hay Lake Road.
Fishing: Pickerel, Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Large Mouth Bass.
Jack Jack Lake
A beautiful lake that is part of the Peterborough Game Preserve. Lots of scenic boating and good fishing in this deeper lake. Located close to the small Town of Apsley for all your cottage needs. The area also has a good golf course being Marvel Golf.
Location: 10-20 minutes from Apsley.
Lake Size: 10 miles+- or 1,221.3 (ha), Maximum depth 42.7 Metres, Mean depth 8.4 Metres.
Lake Character: Jack Lake is a scenic lake located just minutes from the Town of Apsley. This deeper lake offers beautiful Canadian Shield shorelines with lots of boating.
Fishing: Walleye(pickeral), Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Muskellunge.
Jeffrey Jeffrey Lake
Jeffrey Lake is a deep limestone based lake just minutes from Bancroft. A quiet lake long and narrow. The water is crystal clean and offers good fishing.
Location: 10 minutes South of Bancroft off the Gaebel Road.
Lake Size: 1 mile, tops 1/4 in width, Maximum depth 38.7 Metres, Mean depth 12.5 Metres.
Lake Character: Deep crystal clear waters in this smaller limestone based lake. A nice quiet lake with easy access to town. Most of the roads are kept open by the Township.
Fishing: Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass.
Jordan - north Jordan Lake - North
A nice little scenic lake North of Bancroft. The lake has a beautiful rock face on the south side of the lake. South Baptiste Lake Road runs down the one side of the lake which cuts down the privacy.
Location: North of Bancroft about 15 minutes.
Lake Size: Just under 1 mile, Maximum depth 13.7 Metres, Mean depth 5.8 Metres.
Lake Character: Nice smaller lake that offers natural Rainbow Trout fishing. Not that private as a township road runs down the one side. The boat launch is on that township road. A nice little lake that is easy to get to if you want to boat or canoe for a few hours.
Fishing: Rainbow Trout.
Jordan - south Jordan Lake - South
This lake is a shallow lake south of Bancroft. Access is direct off Hwy 62 South. The lake is a quieter lake with a good portion undeveloped.
Location: 25 minutes South of Bancroft.
Lake Size: Just over 1 mile in size, Maximum depth 12 feet.
Lake Character: This lake is a shallow lake almost a half hour south of Bancroft. Only about 31 properties on the lake with very little turnover.
Fishing: Bass fishing.
Kamansikeg Kamaniskeg Lake
Nice large lake that offers about 90 km of boating beween the lake and the Madawaska River. If you portage around the falls and dams you could canoe for days if not weeks down through the system.
Location: 45 Minutes to 1 hour North of Bancroft..
Lake Size: About 90 km of boating, 7,200 acres in size, Maximum depth 133 feet, Mean depth 30.8 feet
Lake Character: Easily accessible year round roads. Large, deep lake with sandy and rocky shorelines. Also access into the Madawaska River. A huge lake system for our area that covers 7,200 acres. A good fishing lake that has lots of areas to tuck yourself away for hours of private peace.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Pickerel, Small Mouth Bass and Northern Pike.
Lake St Peter Lake St.Peter
Big enough to play on yet small enough not to have huge power boats. The lake has a Provincial Park on it as well as a few little resorts. Lots of water flows through the lake giving it good water quality. The roads are all township kept and easy to drive.
Location: 1/2 hour North West of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 2 1/2 miles long, 8.2 miles perimeter, Maximum depth 28 Metres, Mean depth 7.9 Metres.
Lake Character: Gentle sloping, mostly sandy shoreline. The surface area 231.3 HA or 578 acres. A nice medium sized lake that offers lots of fishing. According to my records the lake has 132 properties on it. Easy roads to access and most of the shorelines are walk in swimming.
Fishing: Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Small & Large Mouth Bass.
lamable L'amable Lake
This deep Lake Trout lake is just minutes south of Bancroft. A nice sand public beach is off the Old L'Amable Road. You can also access the lake from this area and you need to go under the road via boat to get to the lake. Good all around lake close to town. Private cottage roads are kept open year round.
Location: 10 Minutes South of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 3/4 miles, 492 acres or 197(ha) Maximum depth 35 Metres, Mean depth 23 Metres.
Lake Character: Very scenic, deep, Trout lake. Most of the shoreline is moderate to steep sloping to the water. Easy access from Bancroft. According to our records only 52 properties on the lake. One of the area's great scenic views from Hwy 62 south from Bancroft.
Fishing: Lake Trout and Small Mouth Bass.
Little Papineau Little Papineau Lake
Nice lake off the main roads. The lake does not have hydro. Most of the properties you can drive to on a seasonal road. The lake offers good fishing and is a very scenic lake. 80% of the lake is crown so boating is very private. Some nice views and rock.
Location: 30 minutes north of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1 1/4 miles or 82.6 (ha), Maximum depth 17.1 Metres, Mean depth 3.3 Metres.
Lake Character: Nice lake 30 minutes north of Bancroft. Very little turn over on the lake. About 80% of the lake is crown. The lake has a public boat launch. Take Hwy 127 from Maynooth, right on Madawaska Road. Follow to Little Papineau Lake Road, keep on till the end. A great lake to enjoy the afternoon fishing.
Fishing: Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike.
Lucerne Lucerne Lake
A very small motor free lake close to Bancroft. About 50% of the properties on the lake are homes.
Location: 15 minutes south of Bancroft.
Lake Size: 1/4 mile tops or 10(ha), Maximum depth 15.2 Metres. Mean depth 4.8 Metres.
Lake Character: Quiet little motor free lake just 15 minutes from town. The roads are open year round and many of the older cottages have been made into homes. The bass fishing is very good. Nice lake if you want a small quiet lake close to town. Records show 11 properties on the lake.
